Pioneering Innovation for Over 35 Years
 
Founded as Med-Tec, Inc. in 1982, our team has grown rapidly over the years, beginning as general machining for medical physicists to developing, manufacturing and distributing products for radiation therapy. 

1982

Founded as Med-Tec, Inc. in Dallas, Texas by Paul Korver. One employee until 1985.


1989

Relocated to Korver's hometown in Orange City, Iowa, beginning as general machining for medical physicists.  

1996

Company expands to 85 employees.


2000

Invented couchtop indexing and Lok-Bars™, making repositioning devices easier and giving clinicians confidence in patient positioning.


2005

Purchased by Roper Technologies, doing business as CIVCO Radiotherapy™.


2006

Roper expands global presence in radiation oncology product line through the acquisition of SINMED, BV (Netherlands).


2008

Body Pro-Lok™ SBRT Immobilization is introduced.


2012

Universal Couchtop™ LE, featuring no rails and large junction and artifact-free treatment area, is released.


2018

Universal Couchtop LE validated for use with Varian TrueBeam™ linear accelerators. Solstice™ SRS system with unique pitch capability is launched.


2019

Enters into agreement to distribute disruptive technologies, including Chabner XRT® Radiation Bra, GrayDuck™ Stents, Adaptiiv bolus software applications and Medical Precision patient marking system.


2021

Blue Wolf Capital Partners LLC acquires CIVCO Radiotherapy from Roper Technologies.

Offices in Coralville and Orange City, Iowa, Singapore and England. Over 100 employees worldwide.
