There are three essential components to a head & neck system:

• Extensions, Baseplates or Overlays, providing the foundation for the system
• Headrests, providing enhanced repositioning, accuracy and patient comfort
• Thermoplastic masks, providing positioning and immobilization from imaging through treatment

The first step in choosing the right thermoplastic mask is determining which patient positioning and fixation system appeals to you. Type-S™ and Uni-frame® systems are compatible with ZENTEC™ and Standard White thermoplastic masks. The Posifix® system is compatible with Mastercast Pro™ and Posicast® thermoplastic masks. The ProForm™ Proton system is compatible with Standard White thermoplastic masks. Most mask types are available with special features.
